Red Interpreting Service (RIS) is a professional ASL interpreting service based out of Syracuse, NY.

RIS Provides Sign Language interpreting solutions in settings including but not limited to: medical, educational, legal, public speaking and spiritual services.

By accessing a roster of state and nationally certified interpreters, we have the years of experience, knowledge and credentials required to fulfill your particular interpreting needs.

Servicing all 50 U.S. States and territories, our interpreters are committed to facilitating the Deaf community with equal access to services, and helping our partners achieve ADA compliance.

We are a Deaf world company.

RIS was founded in 2015 by a CODA ASL interpreter with more than 10 years of professional interpreting experience. 

Meet our Founder & CEO

Rex Sarazen is the founder and CEO of the American conglomerate Leshire. He is a technologist, entrepreneur and an advocate for the Deaf.

Since 2012, Rex and the team at Leshire built a portfolio of brands; Solving for the people in a new digital revolution.

Born in Lestershire, New York into an IBM family and raised in Endicott (The location of Plant No. 1 and birthplace of IBM.) Rex credits his success to the firmware of the last generation of original IBMers. Their principles and singular legacy animate Leshire on a mission to enable humanity.

Rex is a CODA (Child of Deaf Adult), Interpreter, supporter of Deaf-world initiatives and advocate for Deaf civil rights; Combating audism (discrimination against the Deaf), promoting quality of life issues for Deaf Americans and the Deaf worldwide.

Rex is the founder of Deaf.app, a resource center for building a better future for the Deaf and hard of hearing. Deaf.app provides services, tools and resources for the deaf to gain better opportunities, accessibility and ADA compliance with service providers.
